Using the platform

iHOOP iNDEED provides software for running basketball leagues, clubs, tournaments, gyms and player profiles. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

Accounts

• You must give accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• Accounts are for a single person. Leagues and clubs invite staff to their own accounts rather than sharing one.
• A parent or guardian creates and controls any profile for a player under 18. The adult who owns the profile is responsible for what is entered on it.
• Adult players manage their own profiles.

Youth profiles and content

Profiles for minors default to restricted visibility, and players under 16 are shown publicly by initials unless their parent changes that setting. Adding a highlight video for a minor requires parent or guardian consent.

Do not upload photos or video of another person's child without that parent's permission.

Payments

• Registration fees, store purchases, sponsorships and gym bookings are processed by Stripe.
• Where money is collected for a league, club or gym, that organization receives the funds in its own connected account and is responsible for the program, its schedule and its refund policy.
• Platform fees and any processing fee shown at checkout are disclosed before payment.
• Refund requests for a registration or booking go to the organization that ran it. Platform subscription fees are governed by the plan you selected.

Acceptable use

• No harassment, abuse or threatening behavior toward players, families, officials or staff.
• No falsifying statistics, rosters, ratings or check-ins, and no automated activity intended to inflate engagement metrics.
• No attempt to access another account, another organization's data, or the platform's systems without authorization.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant iHOOP iNDEED the permission needed to store and display it on the pages you have chosen to publish it to.

AI-assisted features

Some features, such as the player bio writer, rewrite text you supply using an AI model. They do not research or add facts. You are responsible for reviewing anything generated before publishing it.

Availability and liability

The platform is provided as is. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, iHOOP iNDEED is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or puts other users at risk.
