The Ronceverte Lions Club Youth Basketball League is a youth basketball league for grades 1-8, serving families across Greenbrier and Monroe counties in West Virginia. Games are played at the Ronceverte Lions Gym, 306 North Ave, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
This season, RLCYL is trying something new: a real online home for the league, built just for RLCYL families, coaches, and players — registration, the game schedule, standings and concession-stand duty sign-ups all in one place.
This is the first year RLCYL has run this way, so here's what to expect:
What's new for you
- Four grade divisions, one place to find everything. 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, and 7th-8th grade — schedules, standings, and rosters all live in one spot.
- Coaches build teams through a fair draft, not a random assignment — every player gets evaluated and placed with care.
- A safe, simple way to stay in touch. Team chats keep coaches, players, and parents connected, and direct messaging is limited to Coach↔Parent — so parents always know who their kids can be reached by, and who they can reach.
- Volunteer sign-ups made easy. Concession stand and gym clean-up duties are posted right in the app — parents can see what's open and volunteer with one tap.
- Your player's own profile. Stats, team history, and — as the season goes on — a record that grows with your player year after year.
- Sign up is easy. Register online, or the old-fashioned way on paper — either way, your family will be in the system.
We know trying something new takes a little trust the first time around. RLCYL has always been about giving these kids a great season — this is just a better way to run it.
